Just after 6 pm on Sunday, August 4th, a crash occurred at the intersection of Menaul Boulevard NE and Eubank Boulevard NE in North East Albuquerque.
A vehicle, heading west on Menaul, ran a red light, hitting a vehicle traveling south on Eubank. The second vehicle then hit a third vehicle that was waiting on northbound Eubank to turn onto eastbound Menaul.
In the collision, the driver of the second vehicle was ejected from the car and died at the scene.
A report from the police stated the crash was caused by the driver who ran the red light traveling westbound on Menaul.
