On Tuesday, June 11th, one person was killed in Conifer, Colorado after a semi-truck rollover accident that occurred on Highway 285 that evening. The accident resulted in the semi-truck’s load being dumped onto five vehicles. 

Semi-Truck Rollover Accident Leads To The Death Of One Motorist on Colorado HighwayAccording to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), troopers received a report of a semi-truck rollover around 5 pm. The accident occurred on Highway 285, at milepost 232, just south of Conifer. 

CSP reports say the semi was traveling southbound when it veered off the edge of the highway, causing the truck to roll onto its side and dump its load of pipe and angle iron on top of five other vehicles. 

The victim who died because of this accident was a person inside one of the five vehicles that was struck by the load. The person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to CSP reports. 

Due to the overturned semi, its load, and the other involved vehicles, Highway 285 roadway was blocked through Wednesday morning.
